Once, just once, I'd like to read a blog post defending LieberCare that actually addressed the substantial critiques of it.
Instead, you get the spectacle of people like Bob Cesca erecting so many strawmen that a fire marshall probably needed to be present in his office.
People aren't opposing the Senate bill because they're angry. They're opposing it for the same reason that they are angry, which is because it is absolutely terrible.
That DailyKos piece was right. This is exactly like the Iraq thing. The new "liberal hawks", when challenged, have retreated to the same-old, same-old tactics. That this blew up in their faces last time seems to escape them completely.
