According to his comment section, he's red meat for the social conservatives. He hates Roe v. Wade, affirmative action, labour laws, and 12 year old girls eating fries on the subway(?!)
According to common sense, he's worth of a filibuster if anybody is.
According to Demosthenes, he's a test of courage. If the Dems don't act, they're invertebrates.
"He wanted to send a 12 year old girl to jail for eating a frenchfry on the subway.". He wishes to be a judge, attack his judgement. Whether an unfair simplification or not, the phrase in quotations vabove should be the first words out of any democrats mouth when asked about Roberts. He doesn't have the judgement to be a supreme court justice. This is really all that's needed if the muddies aren't watered with abortion and the votings righst act. Keep it simple and hammer away at it relentlessly. Make him a joke, and by extension make Bush a joke. The people won't support a nominee who hates children.
